Indiana Pacers at Washington Wizards

The Pacers are coming in with their first losing streak in a long time. They have lost three of their last four, something they haven't done since late December. The competition has been good during this stretch; Portland has been phenomenal over the last few weeks, the Lakers are revitalized and the Knicks are the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference.

The Pacers have a great offense, ranking 11th in points per game (115.7), but the defense has improved, helping turn their season around. Since December 13th, their 19 wins are fifth-most and they are 11th in defensive rating (112.6).

In that same span, the Wizards have the fewest wins (six) and second-worst defensive rating (118.2). Nothing about the Wizards has been good, which is why they unloaded some of their top players, including Kyle Kuzma and Jonas Valanciunas.

They recently grabbed three straight wins for the first time this season, but two of those were against Charlotte and Brooklyn, who are just above them in the bottom of the Eastern Conference. They have followed that with three straight losses.

This is a great opportunity for the Pacers to get a bounce-back win.

Portland Trail Blazers at Denver Nuggets

The Nuggets are hot heading into the All-Star break, with a seven-game winning streak. Their offense is carrying this team, averaging 127.6 points during that streak, while the Thunder only averaged more. Their last game against Portland was one of their best offensive performances, as they scored a season-high 146 points and shot 65.9% from the floor.

What the Nuggets must like is it's not all Nikola Jokic as the offensive leader. Michael Porter Jr. has been hot with three straight 30-point performances, shooting 63.9% from the floor. He did miss the last game, but Jokic came through by dropping 40 points. Jamal Murray has also been playing well, with three 30-point performances in his last seven games.

The Trail Blazers were hot, winning 10 of their previous 11 games before dropping back-to-back losses heading into tonight. Their defense has been the anchor in that span, with a 108.5 defensive rating (third). The offense has not been as productive, averaging 111.8 points (23rd). When you face a top-of-the-line offense like Denver and can't stop them, you give them little chance to keep up.

The last matchup featured 263 points, so this total looks reasonable with both teams having a day off between their next matchup.

Parlay Odds: +450
