Oklahoma City Thunder at Memphis Grizzlies
- Leg 1: Thunder -9 (-112)
- Leg 2: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 31.5 Points (-112)
- Leg 3: Thunder ALT Team Total Over 126.5 Points (-198)
The Thunder can win with either their offense or defense, thanks to being first in adjusted Net Rating. While the defense continues to allow the fewest points in the league, you can't ignore what Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is doing on offense. He's coming in as the heavy favorite to win the MVP (-1000 at Caesars Sportsbook), as he leads the league with 32.6 points per game.
The Grizzlies are coming in on a little bit of a slide, having dropped three straight. We're seeing the problem with their style of play - trying to play as fast as possible is tough when you can't defend. They have allowed over 130 points and a 52% field goal rate in the last two games.
The Thunder have scored 125+ points in both matchups versus the Grizzlies this season and shot 50% from the floor in the last game.

Detroit Pistons at Los Angeles Clippers
- Leg 1: Pistons -4.5 (-112)
- Leg 2: Cade Cunningham 35+ Points + Assists (-135)
- Leg 3: Over 219.5 Points (-112)
The Pistons are one of the biggest surprises this season, as they went from a team that lost 23 straight last year to a playoff contender this season. J.B. Bickerstaff was able to stay and coach in the Central Division. While he won't catch up to his old team (Cleveland Cavaliers), he's showing his ability to lead and will be a Coach of the Year candidate.
The support the Pistons brought in has helped this young core. Jalen Duran is becoming a talented big man and Cade Cunningham is on the verge of becoming a star. Cunningham is having the best season of his career, averaging 25.3 points per game (11th) and 9.4 assists per game (third).
As some teams ascend in the Western Conference, the Clippers are on the decline. They are 4-8 in their last 12 games. During this run, they went from a playoff spot to now being in the NBA Play-In Tournament. They were recently embarrassed again by the Lakers and have lost the season series two years in a row. Before last year, they hadn't lost the series since the 2011-12 season.
The problem with this team is that it doesn't have a young star who can take over. Most of its starters are old and injury-prone. Specifically, points leader Norman Powell will miss time with a hamstring injury.
