Tonightâs six-game slate features multiple games on NBA TV. Five of the six games have a spread of no higher than 7.5 points. Weâre in for a solid night of NBA basketball.
That said, Iâve added a couple of same-game parlays (SGPs) you should consider to start the week. Letâs get to it.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Houston Rockets
- Leg 1: Fred VanVleet Under 16.5 Points (-102)
- Leg 2: Ja Morant Over 21.5 Points (-128)
- Leg 3: Fred VanVleet Under 6.5 Assists (-130)
Iâll be fading Fred VanVleet tonight. He has scored at least 19 points in two consecutive games. However, heâs only hit this line in 40% of games this season. He also missed at least 17 points in four games before his last two games. VanVleet will battle a Memphis team ranked 11th in points allowed to point guards. Point guards have also shot below 40% from the floor against Memphis this season. Additionally, VanVleet has shot just 39.3% from the floor over the last 30 games.
Beyond that, the Grizzlies rank fourth in the NBA in assists allowed to point guards. VanVleet has averaged 5.9 assists per game this season. Heâs also added at least seven assists in just three of his last 10 games. The Rockets guard averaged 11 potential assists per game in the previous 10. Heâs earned an assist in about 50% of those opportunities. If he does that tonight against Memphis, he still wonât reach seven assists.
Lastly, Ja Morant has recorded at least 22 points in 55% of games this season. Yet, his line has dropped a bit after just 12 points against Minnesota last time out. The Houston Rockets rank 24th in points allowed to point guards this season. Theyâve allowed a high three-point rate and more than 20 field goal attempts from point guards per game this season. Donât be surprised if Morant reaches the foul line at a solid rate tonight, either. The Rockets rank 24th in free throw attempts to point guards this year.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Los Angeles Lakers
- Leg 1: LeBron James Under 23.5 Points (-111)
- Leg 2: LeBron James Under 8.5 Assists (-1113)
- Leg 3: Keldon Johnson Over 4.5 Rebounds (-104)
LeBron James has tallied no more than 21 points in his last two games. Heâll forever be the GOAT, but heâll likely be a good fade tonight. After all, the Spurs have held small forwards to just 19.28 points per game this season. That ranks fourth in the NBA. Meanwhile, James has seen his usage drastically drop over the last two games. He took just 12 shots against the Mavericks back on January 7th. Expect some rust from the NBA legend.
In addition, the Spurs rank seventh in the NBA in assists allowed to small forwards. The Spurs have given up only 3.58 assists per game to them. James has added no more than eight in four of his last five games. In his last game against Dallas, James had 21 potential assists and only earned eight assists. Thatâs been the theme. In the previous 10 games, James has averaged 15 potential assists but has only averaged 8.2 assists per game. Heâll need a ton of potential assists to get to nine assists. The Spurs wonât allow that.
Someone has to benefit from the Laker misses. Keldon Johnson grabbed 11 rebounds in his last matchup against Milwaukee. Heâs also recorded at least five rebounds in 59% of games this season. That said, heâll take on a Lakers ranked 28th in rebounds allowed to small forwards. Johnson should get plenty of chances. After all, heâs seen an increase in rebound chances almost every night, including 16 chances against the Bucks last time out.
