Miami Heat vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

Dorian Finney-Smith has added at least eight points in seven of his last ten games. He’s also coming off a ten-point performance against Cleveland on the road. While he doesn’t take a lot of shots, he’s added a 51.4% field goal percentage in November and has just one game without shooting 50% or better in the month. He’ll take on a Pelicans defense that is dead last against power forwards in points allowed. Finney-Smith should get some high-quality looks in this game.

The same goes for Cameron Johnson. Johnson is another forward who has added at least 18 points in the last four matchups. Johnson most recently tallied 23 points against the Cavaliers. In the month, he’s shot 53.7% from the field and has averaged three three-pointers per game. You can expect many threes from the Nets’ forwards against New Orleans. Take Johnson to get Over his total, too.

Lastly, let’s ride with Dennis Schroder and his assists prop. He’s averaged 6.6 assists per game. However, he’s missed out on six or more in three of his last four games. He’ll likely bounce back in that category, especially since he’s facing a New Orleans defense that ranks 25th in assists allowed to point guards this season.

Sacramento Kings vs. San Antonio Spurs

DeMar DeRozan has added at least 26 points in five of his last six games. He’s also coming off a performance where he added 34 points in 43 minutes against the Phoenix Suns in an overtime win last night. DeRozan shot 14-for-25 from the field and even got to the foul line a few times. DeRozan will be playing in the second game of a back-to-back. However, he’s also facing a Spurs defense that has ranked 24th in points allowed to shooting guards. The Spurs send shooting guards to the foul line a lot. That should help DeRozan get to 24+ points.

On the other hand, Keegan Murray has scored below 15 points in seven of his last nine games. The Sacramento small forward won’t have it any easier against the Spurs. After all, the Spurs rank No. 1 in the NBA in points allowed to small forwards this season. They’ve held small forwards to 20.36% from downtown and a 30.58% field goal percentage.

Finally, San Antonio’s Stephon Castle is coming off a 23-point performance against the Utah Jazz. The rookie point guard has really started to get comfortable. However, tonight could be a struggle. Castle will take on a Kings team that ranks No. 2 in the NBA in points allowed to point guards.
