Indiana Pacers vs. Toronto Raptors

Davion Mitchell has added no more than five assists in four of his last five games. Now, he’ll take on an Indiana defense ranked third in the NBA in limiting assists against point guards. Point guards have averaged just 7.33 assists per game against the Pacers this season. I’m comfortable taking Mitchell to go under 6.5 assists.

Meanwhile, Ochai Agbaji has delivered at least six rebounds in four of his last five games, but he’ll likely falter tonight. After all, he’s facing a Pacers team that has allowed just 5.15 rebounds to shooting guards this year. The Pacers rank second in the NBA in rebounds allowed and have allowed just 3.97 defensive rebounds to shooting guards this year.

Finally, Pascal Siakam has drained at least two threes in four of his last five games. At +116 odds, there’s value here. After all, the Raptors have allowed 2.41 threes per game to power forwards and rank just 13th in three-point field goal percentage allowed to power forwards. Siakam should get some good looks. He’s been drilling his three-pointers recently. Look for him to do it again.

Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Clippers

Over the last two games, Derrick Jones Jr. has finished with just nine points. However, he’s scored at least 10 points in six of his last 10 games. He faces a Warriors team ranked 24th in points allowed to small forwards this season. After all, the Warriors are dead last in second-chance points allowed to small forwards and have watched small forwards hit 3.44 threes per game this season. Jones should see some solid volume tonight.

Hopefully, that volume isn’t from James Harden. Harden earned 11 assists against Utah last night but has added no more than eight assists in seven of his previous nine games. The Warriors rank inside the top 10 in assists allowed this season and have held opponents to 26.05% from three and 48.02% from the field.

Ivica Zubac has totaled 11 assists in each of his last two games. But I think he can get over the hump tonight. After all, he’s facing a Warriors defense that has allowed 19.51 rebounds per game to centers this season. Centers have totaled 13.76 defensive rebounds and have added 5.75 offensive rebounds. The Warriors have allowed nearly five second-chance points from centers this season. Zubac should break out with a big game.
