New York Knicks vs. Toronto Raptors

OG Anunoby will have some big games this season. But he’s not a consistent scorer and likely won’t have much opportunity in tonight’s game against his former team.

Anunoby has scored no more than 18 points in five of his last six games. He scored no more than eight points in three of those six games. Tonight, he’ll go up against a Toronto defense that has allowed the 14th-most points to small forwards this season. Small forwards have also taken just 7.92 field goal attempts per game against the Raptors. This won’t be a massive Anunoby game. Most games aren’t.

Meanwhile, Karl-Anthony Towns should return to action for the Knicks tonight. He’s missed out on three or more assists in three consecutive games. However, he’s taking on a Raptors defense that ranks dead last in assists allowed to centers this season. Centers have racked up 5.29 assists per game against Toronto this season. Look for Towns to be a facilitator tonight and make some plays for others.

Finally, Scottie Barnes has earned at least eight rebounds in six of his last seven games. That likely won’t stop, especially since the Knicks rank 29th in rebounds allowed to small forwards this season.
