Chicago Bulls vs. Philadelphia 76ers

Chicago Bulls rookie Matas Buzelis scored 15 points against the Phoenix Suns two days ago. Still, he’s only scored at least 12 points in 13% of games this season. He’s also averaged just 5.5 points per game against the 76ers this season. His usage increased to 22.9% against the Suns, but it had reached that several times previously, and he wasn’t nearly as efficient. Add on the fact he’s facing a 76ers’ defense ranked 11th in points allowed to small forwards, and it doesn’t look like a great matchup for Buzelis.

However, Coby White should rack up assists. White has earned at least six assists in two consecutive games. Now, he’ll take on a Philadelphia defense ranked 24th in assists allowed to shooting guards this season. In addition, he’s also had at least 13 potential assists in each of his last two games. He’s also coming off 19 potential assists against Phoenix. Yet, he needs just five tonight.

On the other hand, the 76ers are going to score, too. Tyrese Maxey should lead the show. He’s earned at least seven assists only 40% of the time this season. However, he’s averaging nearly seven assists per game over the last 10. Maxey will battle a Bulls defense ranked dead last in assists allowed to point guards. This Bulls team has allowed an average of 10.47 assists per game to point guards this season. Look for Maxey to distribute the ball efficiently tonight.

Parlay Odds: +413

Charlotte Hornets vs. Sacramento Kings

Malik Monk has missed out on at least 19 points in four of his last five games. It certainly won’t get any easier tonight against a Charlotte defense ranked first in the NBA in points allowed to shooting guards. Monk has shot 42.1% over the last 10 games. He’s also hit below two threes per game over the last 10. Beyond that, he’s added at least 19 points in just one of five head-to-head matchups against the Hornets dating back to 2021.

Meanwhile, LaMelo Ball has scored at least 25 points in 66% of games. However, he’s missed this line in two head-to-head matchups against the Kings and has added just 19.1 points per game over the last 10 games. Ball is a bonafide superstar, but he’s also facing a Kings defense ranked fourth in the NBA in points allowed to point guards this season. He’s shot 37.7% from the field over the last 10 games and isn’t in a position to shoot a higher percentage in tonight’s game.

Finally, I like DeMar DeRozan to add at least four assists for the Kings. He’s secured at least five assists in three straight games and will now take on a Charlotte defense that only ranks 13th in assists per game allowed to small forwards. DeRozan has added at least four assists in eight out of 11 games against the Hornets and is currently on a streak of hitting this line in three straight games. He’s got a good chance at adding four assists in tonight’s ball game.

Parlay Odds: +484
