Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

Anthony Edwards has scored at least 28 points in three consecutive games. But I like that streak to end tonight. He’ll battle a Cleveland defense ranked third in the NBA in points allowed to shooting guards. The Cavaliers have allowed just a 38.03% field goal rate and 7.11 field goals made per game to shooting guards. Edwards has also failed to hit this line in all six games against the Cavaliers dating back to 2021.

Meanwhile, Jaden McDaniels could help on the glass. He’s added at least five rebounds in seven of his last 10 games. He’s also earned at least eight rebounds in four of the previous 10 games. McDaniels will take on a Cleveland defense that has allowed 11.56 rebounds per game to power forwards. The Cavaliers rank 29th in rebounds given up to power forwards. That’s appealing.

Finally, Donovan Mitchell has gone under 4.5 assists in five consecutive games. It’s unlikely he’ll surpass 4.5 assists in this game. He’s taking on a Minnesota defense ranked third in the NBA in assists allowed to shooting guards this season. Mitchell has averaged fewer than eight potential assists per game over the last eight. If that continues, it’s unlikely he’ll dish out at least five assists.

Parlay Odds: +404

Houston Rockets vs. Portland Trail Blazers

Over the last eight games, Alperen Sengun has grabbed at least 11 rebounds in just one game. He’s averaged 18.1 rebound chances per game over the previous 10. However, he’s only earned an average of 6.6 defensive rebounds and 3.4 offensive rebounds over that span. Meanwhile, he’ll battle a Portland defense ranked seventh in rebounds allowed to centers. Those potential rebounds will be harder to come by, and he certainly won’t haul in all of the chances he does get.

There’s also some value on Shaedon Sharpe to go under 3.5 rebounds. He’s finished with no more than three in two of his last three games. Now, he’ll take on a Houston defense ranked eighth in the NBA in rebounds allowed to shooting guards. Sharpe has totaled just 1.6 rebounds per game against Houston in five games. He’s never hit at least four rebounds against the Rockets in his career.

Lastly, take a look at Dillon Brooks to nail at least two threes. He’s buried at least two threes in 65% of games this season and will battle a Portland defense ranked 26th in three-pointers made by shooting guards this season.
