NBA Same Game Parlay Picks & Predictions: Saturday (2/8)

The NBA has added 11 games to tonight’s slate. The Indiana Pacers and Los Angeles Lakers will play one game on ESPN at 4:00 p.m. ET. ESPN initially thought Luka Doncic would make his debut with the Lakers, but that debut likely won’t happen until Monday. Plus, it looks like LeBron James could miss this game, too.

Meanwhile, the Knicks will battle the Celtics later tonight on ABC.

I’ve got a same-game parlay (SGP) for each game, which you can check out below.

Indiana Pacers vs. Los Angeles Lakers

Aaron Nesmith hasn’t scored more than five points in each of his last two games. However, he’s still added at least nine points in 60% of games and has averaged 12.3 points per game against the Lakers in six career head-to-head matchups.

After all, the Lakers rank 19th in the NBA in points allowed to small forwards. Small forwards have shot nearly 45% from the field against the Lakers this season. Beyond that, the Lakers have allowed more than 32% from downtown from small forwards this year. Look for Nesmith to get back on track.

Meanwhile, the Lakers are even worse against small forwards. Los Angeles has allowed nearly 23 points per game to shooting guards, which ranks 24th in the NBA. On the other hand, Bennedict Mathurin is coming off a 25-point performance against the Clippers and has shot over 52% from the field over his last 10 games.

Finally, Mark Williams was traded to the Lakers and hasn’t added four or more assists since. He’s added 2.5 assists per game this season and has totaled one assist in two games against the Pacers in his career. Since the Pacers rank fourth in the NBA in assists allowed to centers, finish this parlay with his under.

Parlay Odds: +510

Boston Celtics vs. New York Knicks

Mikal Bridges has scored at least 18 points in five of his last 10 games. However, he’s only earned at least 18 points in four of his previous 10 head-to-head matchups against the Celtics. The Celtics have also held small forwards to fewer than 20 points per game, ranking fifth in the NBA. The Celtics also rank eighth in field goals made by small forwards this season. Take Bridges to go under his points total.

Meanwhile, Karl-Anthony Towns hasn’t recorded four or more assists in five of his last six games. It likely won’t get any easier with a matchup against the Celtics, who rank second in the NBA in assists allowed to centers this season. Plus, Towns has only had two potential assists in each of his last two games.

Towns has also added just 1.3 three-pointers per game over the last 10. Beyond that, he’s hit at least two threes just once in his previous four head-to-head games against the Celtics. Boston ranks first in the NBA in points allowed to centers this season. They’ve also allowed just 1.03 three-pointers per game to centers. We’re fully fading Towns tonight.

Parlay Odds: +411
