Los Angeles Lakers vs. Houston Rockets

Max Christie had a career day to start 2025 with 28 points against the Portland Trail Blazers. But he came back to life with only nine points against Atlanta last time out. He’ll likely fall even more tonight, knowing he’s facing a Houston defense that has held shooting guards to just 7.53 field goals made per game this season. The Rockets also rank seventh in points allowed to shooting guards throughout the year.

Jalen Green hasn’t recorded more than two assists in three straight games. He’s also missed this line in seven of his last 10 games. Green will face a Lakers defense ranked 25th in assists against shooting guards. Green has also hit this line in nine out of 11 games against the Lakers. Look for him to turn things around tonight.

Finally, Fred VanVleet has hit just one three in his last two games. He’s nailed at least three three-pointers in only 47% of games this year. Beyond that, he’s averaged just 2.1 threes per game against the Lakers dating back to 2021 and will face a Lakers defense ranked third in three-point field goal percentage against point guards. Take VanVleet’s under on three-pointers to finish off this parlay.

Parlay Odds: +499

Sacramento Kings vs. Golden State Warriors

Domantas Sabonis hasn’t scored at least 21 points since December 16th. He’s failed to hit this line in seven consecutive games. He’s come close, but he’s scored between 14 to 19 during that seven-game stretch. Ultimately, Sabonis has nailed this line in only six of 16 games head-to-head against the Warriors, and he’s also nailed this line just twice in his last 10 games. Now he’ll take on a Warriors defense ranked fifth in the NBA in points allowed to centers this season.

Don’t expect much from Keegan Murray, either. He’s recorded just nine points in his last two games combined. He’s also missed his points prop in six consecutive games and will face a Warriors defense that ranks 17th in points allowed to small forwards this year.

I’m also not super high on Andrew Wiggins tonight. Wiggins scored 24 points last time, but he’s hit this line in just four of his last 10 and 37% of games this season. Wiggins will also have a tough task against the Kings, who rank eighth in the NBA in points allowed to small forwards this season.
