NBA Same Game Parlay Picks & Predictions: Sunday (12/15)

It’s been a slow week in the NBA, with the NBA Cup playing sporadically. However, tonight’s NBA slate includes seven games. With more games to choose from, I’m feeling confident with tonight’s two same-game parlays (SGPs).

Dallas Mavericks vs. Golden State Warriors

Kyrie Irving scored just 17 points against the Oklahoma City Thunder last time out. His usage was just 17.9%, and he took only 14 shots. It was the second game in a row where Irving only took 14 shots. It was also the third time in four games that he finished with only 14 shots. That’s a little concerning. But add on the fact the Warriors rank third in the NBA in points per game to point guards and Irving likely has another lackluster game for his standards.

Yet, I still like Irving to add at least four rebounds. Irving has totaled at least six rebounds in five of his last seven games. Meanwhile, the Warriors have allowed nearly seven rebounds per game to point guards this season. That’s ultimately the one area where the Warriors aren’t good against point guards.

Meanwhile, Dereck Lively has scored no more than seven points in three consecutive games. That will likely continue with a matchup against a Golden State defense ranked seventh in the NBA in points per game to centers this season. Centers have shot below 50% against the Warriors and rarely get second-chance opportunities. That’ll hurt Lively.

Parlay Odds: +516

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Los Angeles Lakers

I’m a big Jaren Jackson Jr. fan tonight. First, I like him to score at least 20 points. Jackson Jr. has scored at least 20 points in three straight games. Tonight, he’ll take on a Lakers defense ranked 21st in points allowed to centers this year. Centers have shot 53.63% against the Lakers and have earned more than five offensive rebounds per game. That’s resulted in some solid second-chance points opportunities.

It’s why I also like Jackson to earn at least six rebounds. He’s pulled down at least six rebounds in seven of his last nine games. The Lakers rank 27th in offensive rebounds allowed and 29th in defensive rebounds allowed to centers this season. Jackson Jr. has been consistent on the glass and should have plenty of opportunity to grab rebounds tonight.

Meanwhile, Ja Morant has totaled at least nine assists in back-to-back games. While the Lakers defend point guards well, they still allow more than 10 assists per game to point guards. The Lakers rank 28th in assists allowed to point guards this season. Morant won’t get many good looks. He’ll have to resort to passing, which is why I love his assist prop tonight.

Parlay Odds: +437
