NBA Same Game Parlay Picks & Predictions: Sunday (3/16)

Most of us will be watching the final NCAA conference tournament championships during the day. However, once those games are over, there will still be a few NBA games to watch.

I’ve added two same-game parlays (SGPs) for a couple of the later games on tonight’s NBA slate. Let’s close out the weekend with a bang.

Sunday’s Best NBA Same Game Parlays

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Utah Jazz vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

I’m all in on Anthony Edwards.

The Jazz simply can’t guard shooting guards. Edwards presents a massive mismatch.

Edwards has already scored at least 28 points in two consecutive games. He’s also added at least 28 points in seven out of 11 head-to-head matchups against the Jazz since 2021. Meanwhile, he’s facing a Jazz defense ranked 27th in points allowed to shooting guards. Shooting guards have drained 3.62 threes per game and have attempted nearly 10 threes per game against Utah. Edwards has attempted 18 threes in his last two games combined and figures to get plenty of opportunity from downtown tonight.

The Jazz also ranks 28th in assists allowed to shooting guards and 27th in rebounds allowed to shooting guards. Anthony Edwards could flirt with a triple-double tonight. Over the last 10 games, Edwards has earned more than 11 potential assists per game. In his previous two matchups against the Jazz, Edwards has earned a combined 29 potential assists.

On the glass, Edwards has seen an average of 9.6 potential rebounds per game over the last 10 games. He’s recorded at least 13 rebounds in two of his last nine games and has that kind of potential in tonight’s game against the Jazz. Ultimately, the Jazz rank 29th in combined points + rebounds + assists allowed to shooting guards. Edwards should take advantage.

Parlay Odds: +401

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Milwaukee Bucks

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has scored at least 34 points in four of his last five games. He’s also earned at least 34 points in six of his last 10 games. Ultimately, he’ll never have a better matchup than tonight. He’s facing a Bucks defense ranked dead last in points allowed to point guards this season. The Bucks have allowed nearly 21 field goal attempts and nearly 10 field goals made per game to point guards. Beyond that, the Bucks are also in the bottom 10 in free throws allowed and made from point guards. Gilgeous-Alexander should see plenty of volume and success tonight.

Not everyone on the Thunder will dominate, however. There will be some misses from his teammates. After all, the Thunder rank 26th in rebounds allowed to point guards. Damian Lillard should be able to take advantage of this. Lillard just added 10 rebounds in his last game against the Pacers. He’s also earned at least five rebounds in four of his last five games, averaging 6.2 per game. He’s had at least seven rebound chances in three straight games. That should stretch to four games tonight.

I also like Taurean Prince to grab four or more rebounds. Prince has recorded at least four rebounds in six of his last 10 games. Tonight, he’ll battle a Thunder team that has allowed more than eight rebounds per game to small forwards. The Thunder rank 25th in the NBA in rebounds allowed to small forwards. Look for Prince to add a high rate of rebounds, especially since he’s averaging more than 30 minutes per game over the last 10 games.

Parlay Odds: +521
