Phoenix Suns vs. New Orleans Pelicans

Devin Booker has added at least 29 points in only 35% of his games this year. Of course, Booker will likely take more shots with Kevin Durant out and have greater production.

That said, Booker is facing a Pelicans defense allowing just 20.14 points per game to shooting guards this season. Ultimately, shooting guards have hit just 3.1 threes per game against the Pelicans and have attempted only 7.53 shots per game. Booker will take more than 7.5 shots tonight. However, the Pelicans also clearly play good defense against shooting guards and should make it at least challenging for Booker to do severe damage.

The same could be said about Bradley Beal, who is also labeled a shooting guard. Beal has scored no more than 19 points in three of his last 10 games. He also just scored 10 points against the Spurs last time out.

Lastly, consider Brandon Ingram to add at least five assists. Ingram hasn’t played since Friday, November 22. However, he’s added at least five assists in 69% of games this season. In addition, he’s nailed this line in eight of his last 10 and had seven in his last game before his injury. If Ingram plays, you can trust him in the assists category.

Parlay Odds: +541

Chicago Bulls vs. San Antonio Spurs

With Victor Wembanyama out, the Spurs will need many guys to step up. I just don’t think it’ll be the small forwards on the roster.

After all, the Bulls have held small forwards to 18.42 points per game. They’ve also limited small forwards to 2.32 three-pointers per game, allowing small forwards to hit just 22.51% from three this season. In addition, small forwards have added just a 38.78% field goal percentage against the Bulls.

After a nine-point performance against Phoenix, I’d back Julian Champagnie to go under his points total tonight. I’d also roll with Keldon Johnson to go under. He’s earned no more than 13 points in eight of his last 10 games. He also played poorly against Phoenix, scoring just 10 points in their previous matchup.

That said, someone needs to perform for the Spurs. I’d roll with Devin Vassell to be that guy. He’s added at least four threes in three of his last four games and will battle a Chicago defense ranked 30th in points against shooting guards and 30th in three-pointers allowed to shooting guards this season.

Parlay Odds: +430
