NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (1/10/25)
Regular season record: 104-47
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (G â OKC): OVER 24.5 points (alt line)
SGA continues to dominate for the Thunder, making his MVP case with every game played. Shai has scored 29 or more points in each of his last six games and 25 or more in 10 of his last 11 and 23 of his last 25. SGA dropped 33 on the Knicks last Friday and should be even more motivated in what will likely be his lone Madison Square Garden appearance of the season. Slap the More on SGA for Friday night at Sleeper Picks.
Domantas Sabonis (C â SAC): OVER 0.5 double doubles
Domantas continues to be a double double machine, registering at least 10 and 10 in 32 of his 34 games played and in 14 straight. Sabonis is second in the league with 13.8 rebounds per game, and while his percentage is down, he is still a nightly triple double threat. Domantas has averaged 13 rebounds per game against Boston last season. The Celtics have surrendered 13.3 rebounds per game to opposing centers this season. Dap the More on Domantas for Friday night's NBA action.
Karl-Anthony Towns (F/C â NYK): OVER 19.5 points (alt line)
The double double line is also a play here, but we will discuss the points alt line at 19.5 instead. Towns has scored 27 or more points in five of his last six games and should be all the way up for a matchup against the toast of the Western Conference in the Oklahoma City Thunder. Isaiah Hartenstein will likely be out to prove something himself, so KAT may explode for 30+. Still, the alt line is the play over the 23.5 full line, as Towns scored just 17 on the Thunder last Friday. Roll with the double double play if you don't mind a lower multiplier play, but for all others, tap the More on Towns for Friday night basketball.
Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
