NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (1/19)
Welcome to Sleeper Picks! Sleeperâs newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for tonight's NBA action. Similar to fantasy sports, the goal in Sleeper Picks is to draft a team of players based on who you think will perform better than the field. But with Sleeper Picks, you pick teams of 2-8 players from multiple teams based on your preferences and predict whether those players will score more or less than a predetermined amount. There are a number of ways to play and a variety of strategies to employ, and weâll guide you through the process each week.

NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (1/19/24)
Season record: 113-68
Nikola Jokic (C â DEN): OVER 0.5 double doubles
Jokic remains one of the best bets for a double double on any given night, and the fact that he's a bigotry triple double threat only helps matters. Domantas Sabonis' elite double double rate has put Jokic back in play with lines that no longer expire within hours of being posted. The multiplier remains low but is perfect to pair with promo lines that require at least three predictions. Jokic leads the league with 12 triple doubles and has recorded at least 10 and 10 in 35 of his 41 games played this season. Tonight, he faces off against a Boston Celtics team allowing 13.08 rebounds per game to the center position. While this is one of the best marks in the NBA, Jokic needs just 10 boards or dimes for this total to hit. Jab the More on the Joker for Friday night.
LaMelo Ball (G â CHA): OVER 25.5 points
LaMelo has averaged 26 points per game since returning from injury and has put up 24.9 per game on the season. Efficiency remains an issue for the talented guard, but when you are taking nine plus threes per game and can get to the line at will, you take the good with the bad, especially when the player in question is a plus facilitator and one of the best rebounders at his position. LaMelo is going to hit 24+ on most nights, but getting to the charity stripe is key to him hitting 26+. LaMelo is set to face off against an exploitable San Antonio Spurs team surrendering a league-high 28.14 points per game to the point guard position. Lock in the More on LaMelo for Friday night.
Michael Porter Jr. (F â DEN): OVER 15.5 points
MPJ has been heating up for the Nuggets, scoring 18 or more points in six of his last eight games and 20 or more in five of them. Averaging 16.4 points per game on the season and 17.5 points per game in January, MPJ has an excellent chance to hit at least 16 tonight. The Boston Celtics have allowed 19.46 points per game to the small forward position this season. Mash the More on MPJ for Friday night.
Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
