NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (1/2/25)
Regular season record: 95-40
Tyrese Maxey (G â PHI): OVER 19.5 points (alt line)
Maxey has been locked in as a scorer this season and comes into tonight's contest averaging 25.9 points per game. Tyrese has poured in 23 or more points in 10 straight games and has an excellent opportunity to do so again against a Golden State Warriors team relinquishing 22.04 points per game to the point guard position. Tap the More on Tyrese for Thursday night's NBA action.
D'Angelo Russell (G â BKN): OVER 14.5 points
D'Angelo shined in his first game back with his former team, pouring in 22 points against the Raptors. Milwaukee will be a far tougher opponent from one to five, but Russell should still find success, provided he doesn't go cold from the field. He took 13 shots in his 2024-25 debut with the Nets and could see even more volume tonight with Cam Thomas still out and D'Angelo being expected to see an increased role after he played just 26 minutes on New Yearâs Eve. Dap the Mote on D'Angelo for Thursday night at Sleeper Picks.
Damian Lillard (G â MIL): OVER 19.5 points (alt line)
Lillard will look to bounce back from an off night his last time out and now has a plus matchup on tap against the Brooklyn Nets. Dame has faced the Nets twice this season, scoring 21 and 15 points. Dame has scored 20 or more points in 12 of his last 14 games and should hit the mark tonight, provided he can avoid another atrocious shooting night. Dap the More on Dame for Thursday night basketball.
Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
