NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (1/3/25)
Regular season record: 96-42
Cade Cunningham (G – DET): OVER 19.5 points (alt line)
Cade continues his ascent for the Pistons, averaging 24.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 10.7 assists per game over his last 11 contests. Cade has scored 20 or more points in 23 of his 29 games this season and in 12 of his last 15. Cunningham scored 20 and 27 points in his two games against Charlotte this season. Clap the More on Cade for Friday night's NBA action.
Donovan Mitchell (G – CLE): OVER 3.5 assists (alt line)
Donovan has slowed down as a distributor over his last two, opting for more volume instead of playmaking, but still managed to hit the alt line mark, with four assists in both of those games. Mitchell has recorded four or more assists in 12 straight games and in 14 of his last 15. He's averaging 4.6 assists per game on the season but averaged 5.5 assists in December. Dap the More on Donovan for Friday night basketball.
Domantas Sabonis (C – SAC): OVER 0.5 double doubles
Domantas continues to reign as the NBA's double double king, putting up at least 10 and 10 in 29 of his 31 games played. Sabonis is averaging a league high 13.8 rebounds per game and hauled in 13 boards when he faced the Grizzlies earlier this season. Domantas should have little problem hitting at least 10 points and 10 rebounds tonight. Slap the More on Sabonis for Friday night at Sleeper Picks.
Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
