NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (2/10/25)
Regular season record: 150-48
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (G – OKC): OVER 24.5 points (alt line)
The SGA MVP countdown remains in full effect. The young Canadian will be taking home his first MVP trophy, barring any unforeseen circumstances, and there is no debate or controversy, unlike what we saw this past weekend twice in the same sport. SGA continues to prove he is an elite player, scoring 25 or more points in each of his last 20 games. Over his last nine contests, SGA is averaging a truly insane 38.0 points per game on .514 shooting. Gilgeous-Alexander has become impossible to stop since adding the three pointer to his repertoire and should continue to dominate the league for years to come. SGA scored 31 points against the Pelicans in his lone meeting against them this season. Slap the More on SGA for Monday night at Sleeper Picks.
Jordan Poole (G – WAS): OVER 19.5 points (alt line)
Poole took just 17 shots on Saturday after jacking up 32 on Friday, but we will chalk that up to a back-to-back, as Poole was still more efficient than expected. Poole should get back on track in terms of insane volume tonight against the San Antonio Spurs. Poole is never afraid to let it fly from deep but has been hitting on a high clip of his two point attempts, which is what will drive him into the 20s. The three ball will fall when it wants, but if Poole stays aggressive from other parts of the floor, hitting the 20 for this alt line shouldn't be much of an issue, even with Victor Wembanyama on the other side. Poole has scored 21 or more points in both games since the Kyle Kuzma trade. Push the More on Poole for Monday night's NBA action.
De'Aaron Fox (G – SAS): OVER 5.5 assists (alt line)
Fox has looked good since coming over from Sacramento but still has a ways to go in terms of conditioning and acclimating himself into the Spurs offense. The early returns have been strong, but he still hasn't been very aggressive in getting to the line. As his nine point performance in his last game showed, there are going to be some bumps in the road as he tries to find his place in the offense, but he has been an impact playmaker from the get-go. Fox has dished out six or more assists in both of his games in a Spurs uniform and should hit at least that many tonight against Washington. The Wizards surrender 10.04 assists per game to the point guard position. Fire up the More on Fox for Monday night basketball.
Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
