NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (2/24/25)
Regular season record: 163-55
Domantas Sabonis (C – SAC): OVER 0.5 double doubles
Domantas continues his reign as the NBA's double double king and looks all but certain to attain the dubious distinction of leading the league in double doubles (and rebounding) in back-to-back seasons and failing to make the all-star game in both. Sabonis has recorded a double double in eight straight games and in 50 of 53 overall. Lock this one in before it expires, or the multiplier drops further. Charlotte surrenders the fourth most rebounds per game to the center position at 16.15 per contest. Dap the More on Domantas for Monday night's NBA action.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (G – OKC): OVER 24.5 points (alt line)
SGA was excellent last night, dropping 37 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, three steals, and three blocks against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first half of a home and back-to-back. Tonight, Gilgeous-Alexander will be back at home, where he averages 32.5 points per game versus 30.7 on the road. SGA has scored 31.3 points per game in the second half of back-to-back games this season. SGA has scored 40, 24, and 37 points in his three games against the T'Wolves this season. Slap the More on SGA for Monday night at Sleeper Picks.
Cade Cunningham (G – DET): OVER 24.5 points (alt line)
Cade is listed at a sky high 27.5 tonight, which should show us all how far the newly minted all-star has come as a scorer. Cade has scored 28 or more in just two of his last five but has been on a scoring binge as of late, putting the 24.5 alt line in play. We have been riding with the 19.5 all season, but it now has a minuscule 1.07x multiplier versus a 1.38x for 24.5. Cade has dropped 25 or more points in five of his last seven contests and in seven of his last 10. Hit the 19.5 if you don't chase multipliers; otherwise, clap the More on Cade at 24.5 for Monday night basketball.
Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
