Similar to fantasy sports, the goal in Sleeper Picks is to draft a team of players based on who you think will perform better than the field. But with NBA Sleeper Picks, you pick teams of 2-8 players from multiple teams based on your preferences and predict whether those players will score more or less than a predetermined amount. There are a number of ways to play and a variety of strategies to employ, and we’ll guide you through the process each week. Here are our top NBA Sleeper Picks for today’s games.

NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (2/27/25)

Regular season record: 169-57

Kevin Durant (G/F – PHX): OVER 19.5 points (alt line)

KD has a surprising multiplier on his 19.5 alt line tonight that, while still low, dwarfs many others with similar probabilities. KD has been solid since the all-star break but has yet to crack the 30 point barrier. With that said, Durant has scored 20 or more points in 30 of his last 32 games. Light up the More on KD for Thursday night basketball.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (F – MIL): OVER 0.5 double doubles

Giannis is not usually considered a walking double double like the others we usually tap this line on, but seems to be rounding back into form despite the calf injury that continues to bother him. Giannis is averaging 12.0 rebounds per game in the season and has recorded a double double in 39 of his 45 games played. For context, his double double rate (86.66 percent) is second in the league behind Domantas Sabonis (92.59 percent). Giannis will look to bring his best tonight against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets. Grab the More on Giannis for Thursday night at Sleeper Picks.

Anthony Edwards (G/F – MIN): OVER 19.5 points (alt line)

Anthony Edwards managed just 17 points his last time out, so we are going to stay far away from the full line of 28.5, a number he has failed to hit in three of his last five games. The 24.5 has some appeal, but the probability versus multiplier trade off doesn't quite add up. Ant-Man dropped 27, 8, and 23 points in his three games against the Los Angeles Lakers so far this season. Edwards has scored 20 or more points in 18 of his last 19 games. Rap the More on Ant-Man for Thursday night's NBA action.

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
