NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (3/18/25)

Regular season record: 198-61

Donovan Mitchell (G – CLE): OVER 3.5 assists (alt line)

Is Donovan Mitchell good enough to lead a team to the promised land? The short answer is yes. He is indeed good enough to help propel them past a scary Boston Celtics team to earn an NBA Finals berth. Whether or not they can beat the best the West has to offer is a different question altogether. Cleveland is 1-3 against Oklahoma City and the Houston Rockets but is 5-0 against Denver and Memphis. With that said, most of us know that the playoffs are an entirely different animal and that the regular season doesn't matter in the second season. Donovan is a proven playoff performer but will need to keep his teammates involved, even when he is going nuclear, for the Cavs to have the type of playoff success they are hoping for. For his part, Donovan has been putting in work as a playmaker, dishing out five or more assists in 18 of his last 20 games. This bodes well for the Cavs if he can keep it up when it matters the most. Dap the More on Donovan for Tuesday night basketball.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (F – MIL): OVER 0.5 double doubles

Giannis' future with the Milwaukee Bucks continues to be a hot topic around the NBA, especially after his comments following the Luka Doncic trade. With that said, it was his Mother's desire to stay in Milwaukee that kept him with the Bucks the last time he had to decide his future, and she could once again be a deciding factor in his decision down the line. The Greek Freak appears to be ramping up for the playoffs, threatening a triple double in three straight before achieving the feat against Oklahoma City. Giannis is averaging 12.1 rebounds per game and has recorded a double double in 47 of his 55 games played, putting him past Nikola Jokic (83.87 percent) for the second highest double double rate in the league (85.45 percent). Grab the More on Giannis for Tuesday night at Sleeper Picks.

Stephen Curry (G – GSW): OVER 19.5 points (alt line)

Steph Curry has locked back in and is looking like he is breathing much easier with Jimmy Butler on the team. The Warriors are 14-2 when Butler plays and could make some serious noise in the postseason if they can manage to stay healthy. Steph has scored 20 or more points in 17 of his last 20 games but has hit the full line of 26 just once in his past four contests. This is an easy alt line decision. Slap the More on Steph for Tuesday night's NBA action.

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
