NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (3/25/25)
Regular season record: 204-64
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (G – OKC): OVER 24.5 points (alt line)
SGA added his name to the record books last week, becoming just the fifth player in NBA history to record 20 or more points in 63 straight contests. He has scored 25 or more points in 12 straight and in 34 of his last 36 games overall. The addition of the three point shot to his game has made SGA virtually unstoppable. Shai has stepped it up since the all-star break, averaging 34.1/4.7/7.1 on .521/.409/.921 vs. 32.5/5.1/6.1 on .523/.359/.897 prior to the break. SGA poured in 37 and 29 points in his two games against the Sacramento Kings this season. Slap the More on SGA for Tuesday night basketball.
Paolo Banchero (F – ORL): OVER 19.5 points (alt line)
The 24.5 alt line was given consideration here, but Paolo managed just 24 against Charlotte last month due to seeing protracted minutes in a blowout. The Hornets are on blowout watch again in this one, so the 19.5 offers the best value despite the lower multiplier. Banchero has scored 20 or more points in 13 straight games and in 17 of his last 18. Push the More on Paolo for Tuesday night's NBA action.
Cade Cunningham (G – DET): OVER 19.5 points (alt line)
With 10 games left in their season, the Detroit Pistons sit comfortably in sixth place, just half a game back from the Milwaukee Bucks. The fifth seed would net them the Indiana Pacers in the first round. Staying in sixth means they'd have to face the New York Knicks. Cade Cunningham has been the driving force behind much of the team's success this season, but a mixture of young 'stars in their role' and veterans have them threatening to at least make the semifinals if the cards fall right. Cunningham has been sensational in his first all-star season, averaging 25.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 9.2 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game. He has scored 24 or more points in nine of his last 10 games and has scored 20 or more in 29 of his last 33 games overall. Cade dropped 25 on the Spurs in late February. Clap the More on Cade for Tuesday night at Sleeper Picks.
Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
