NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (3/4/24)

Season record: 161-92

John Collins (F/C – UTA): OVER 16.5 points

Lauri Markkanen has been ruled out with a quad contusion, which leaves Collins firmly entrenched as the Jazz’ top frontcourt option for Monday night against the Washington Wizards. Collins has been rolling lately, putting up 18 or more points in three of his last four games. He is not impervious to a poor shooting night to the field, given the nature of his game, but should see more than enough volume to hit at least 17 points tonight. Clap the More on Collins for Monday night.

De’Aaron Fox (G – SAC): OVER 23.5 points

Fox is listed as questionable for tonight’s game against Chicago but is expected to play after practicing on Sunday. Fox is listed at just 23.5 points, which suggests some concern regarding minute restrictions. However, if the Kings deem him healthy enough to play against a non-conference team with a losing record, they should let him loose. Fox played 35 and 33 minutes in his two previous returns from injury this season and should see a similar workload tonight if active. Fox dropped 41 points on the Bulls last month. Fire up the More on Fox for Monday night.

DeMar DeRozan (G/F – CHI): OVER 4.5 assists

DeMar has shined as a playmaker recently for the Bulls, recording five or more assists in six of his last seven games. He is averaging 5.3 assists per game on the season and is set to take on a Sacramento Kings team he dished out six dimes against last month. As the Bulls’ best player, DeRozan should have a high usage impact regardless of whether he starts at the three or the four tonight. Dap the More on DeMar for Monday night basketball.

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
