Black Fridayâs Best Same Game Parlay Bets: Chiefs vs. Raiders
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Las Vegas Raiders @ Kansas City Chiefs
- Leg 1: DeAndre Hopkins Under 41.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
- Leg 2: Travis Kelce 60+ Receiving Yards (+120)
- Leg 3: Brock Bowers 60+ Receiving Yards (-115)
- Leg 4: Jakobi Meyers 25+ Receiving Yards (-750)
Football fans and pundits might have gotten over their skis after DeAndre Hopkins had eight receptions for 86 yards against the Buccaneers in Week 9. Hopkins had only three targets, two receptions and 29 receiving yards against the Raiders in his debut for the Chiefs. Since barbecuing Tampa Bayâs exploitable secondary, Hopkins has had 56, 29 and 35 receiving yards.
According to the data suite at Fantasy Points, Hopkins has had a 47.6% route participation rate, 14.3% target share, eight receptions and 64 receiving yards since Week 11. He was fifth on the Chiefs in route participation, sandwiched between Justin Watson (50.0%) and JuJu Smith-Schuster (40.2%).
During that same two-game period, Travis Kelce was first in route participation (75.6%). Kelce had a down game against the Bills in Week 11, recording only eight receiving yards. However, heâs otherwise played well since Rashee Rice was injured in Week 4.
Take a look at Kelceâs last eight games:
- 79.9% route participation rate
- 28.5% air yards share
- 25.6% target share
- 0.28 targets per route run
- 500 receiving yards (62.5 per game)
- 1.88 yards per route run
- 31.0% first-read percentage
Hopkins will have difficulty surpassing 41.5 receiving yards in a challenging matchup, part-time role and a likely positive game script. Yet, Kelce should feast in a favorable matchup while helping the Chiefs race out to a lead against the outgunned Raiders. According to Pro-Football-Reference, Las Vegas has permitted the sixth-most receiving yards per game (61.5) to tight ends. Kelce torched them for 90 receiving yards in their previous meeting.
Brock Bowers is having a monstrous rookie season. Through 11 games, heâs averaged 6.7 receptions and 67.6 receiving yards per game. His underlying data without Davante Adams has been superb, too. Bowersâ production in eight games since Week 4:
- 78.7% route participation rate
- 26.7% air yards share
- 24.7% target share
- 0.28 targets per route run
- 29.7% first-read percentage
- 68.4 receiving yards per game
Bowers had 58 receiving yards against the Chiefs earlier this season. Kansas City has coughed up an eye-popping 72.5 receiving yards per game to tight ends this season. Bowers should build on his first opportunity against the Chiefs.
Jakobi Meyers has also been critical to Las Vegasâ passing attack without Adams. Meyersâ production in the six games with Adams:
- 90% route participation rate
- 37.0% air yards share
- 24.5% target share
- 0.24 targets per route run
- 32.9% first-read percentage
- 71.2 receiving yards per game
Meyers has had at least 25 receiving yards in all nine games heâs played this season.
