NFL Monday Night Football Anytime TD Scorer & Win Parlays (Saints vs. Chiefs)

We’ve officially hit the first set of byes in the NFL and that will make things even more interesting as we move along. Last week I went 4-for-4 on these bets between Thursday and Monday Night! For Sunday, I went 2-for-2 with my favorite bet (DJ Moore) and my underdog bet (Brenton Strange) on the TD Scorer and Win parlays. We now move on to Monday Night Football! This matchup will be the New Orleans Saints hitting the road and traveling to Kansas City to play the Chiefs.

New Orleans Saints vs. Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs are the only undefeated team in the AFC at 4-0 and the Saints are 2-2 entering this contest. This game should be competitive from both sides and I’d have to think the score will be relatively close throughout much of the contest. By now, we all know that Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice is done for the season with a knee injury. That leaves the door open for someone to step up at wide receiver. With the way this season has gone, it would be wise to consider Xavier Worthy in this spot. He’s 3rd on the team in targets with 15 and his 154 receiving yards is 3rd on the team as well.

When looking at Rashee Rice’s stats for the season, he averaged eight receptions per game and was almost at 10 targets per game. Keep in mind, he got injured early against the Chargers last week so he didn’t get to play a full game, let alone a full quarter. Certainly, all of the targets won’t go to Worthy because Travis Kelce is still going to be a key part of the offense. However, Worthy should see an increased role moving forward.

As for the Saints’ defense, they’ve only allowed one passing touchdown this season. They’ve got this bend but don’t break mentality on defense. It shows as their 233.8 passing yards allowed per game is ranked 24th in the NFL but their 17.5 points allowed per game is 7th best in the NFL. The difference this week is that the Chiefs have the best quarterback in the NFL in Patrick Mahomes.

Whether it be with designed screens or outrunning the opposition vertically downfield, Xavier Worthy should have a strong performance tonight. After the injury to Rice last week, Worthy went on to record three receptions for 73 yards and one touchdown. Additionally, he had a long reception for 54 yards. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid is one of the most creative play-callers in the NFL so I’m sure he’ll find ways to get Worthy involved.

Parlay Odds: Xavier Worthy to Score Anytime / KC Chiefs to Win (+205)
