NFL Monday Night Football Anytime TD Scorer & Win Parlays (Seahawks vs. Lions)
Much like last week, there are two games for Monday Night Football! The first being between the Tennessee Titans and Miami Dolphins and the other is with the Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions. With how uncertain I am about both Will Levis and Skyler Thompson are at quarterback for the Dolphins and Titans, Iâve opted to stay out of that game completely.
It could be a good game to live bet depending on how it goes for certain props and line movement in that one. For now, we will focus on the Lions and Seahawks game as I think there could be better more back and forth action in that game. Letâs dive into it!

Seattle Seahawks at Detroit Lions Favorite Bet
After a good win on the road against the Arizona Cardinals last week, the Detroit Lions return home to battle the Seattle Seahawks. Over the last three seasons, the Seahawks and Lions have met in the regular season and the Seahawks have won each one of those meetings. This has been a game that Lions head coach Dan Campbell has circled and theyâre eager to try and get a win against Seattle.
The same can be said about the Seahawks as they look to stay undefeated. Itâll be tough for both teams as thereâs quite a few injuries on both sides of the ball. For the Seahawks, theyâll be without Byron Murphy, Leonard Williams, Uchenna Nwosu and Boye Mafe. Meanwhile, their starting linebacker Jerome Baker is questionable with a hamstring injury.
As for the Lions, theyâve got all types of injuries. Frank Ragnow is out with a pec injury and Brian Branch is doubtful with an illness. In addition to that, the Lions put Marcus Davenport, Ifeatu Melifonwu and Derrick Barnes on injured reserve. These injuries will certainly make things interesting for both teams and how they adjust offensively and defensively.
Shifting away from the injuries, letâs start focusing on the game lines and where some of the best match-ups are for this game. For starters, the Lions are 4-point favorites and the total is set at 46.5 total points. Itâs worth noting that the over has hit in the last 3 games between these two teams. Despite the improvements made from the Lions defense, the over is very much in play for this game.
When looking at the Seahawks defense, I mentioned the injuries they sustained to interior defenders and pass rushers but theyâre also suspect against the run despite only allowing 65 total rushing yards last week to the Miami Dolphins. Much of that was due to the poor quarterback play from the Dolphins. More consistency from Jared Goff and the Lions could lead to a big day for running backs Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery. After all, the Seahawks are allowing 116.3 rushing yards per game.
As for the Lions running backs, theyâre led by David Montgomery. He has 231 rushing yards on 51 carries and 3 touchdowns this season. Paired with him is the electric Jahmyr Gibbs and heâs not far behind Montgomery. Through 3 games, Gibbs has 207 rushing yards on 40 carries for one touchdown. This combination should find success on Monday night and I could see the Lions offense going through David Montgomery for much of the night.
Last season, Montgomery had 67 rushing yards and a touchdown against the Seahawks. With the injuries to the Seahawks front-7, I could see a similar performance for the talented Lions running back. This game should be relatively close for much of the night. After all, the Lions have played in one score games in all 3 of their games this year. Look for both teams to battle back and forth but at the end of the night, Iâll take home team squeaking out their 3rd win of the season and this will give the Seahawks their first loss on the year.
Favorite Bet: David Montgomery Anytime Touchdown / Lions to Win (+125)
