NFL Monday Night Football Anytime Touchdown Scorer Picks: Chargers vs. Jets (Week 9)

The final game of the week is turning out to be an interesting one. The Chargers need to start winning because the AFC playoff picture looks like it could be competitive. With everyone in the AFC East losing on Sunday, the Jets would be tied in the loss with the Dolphins, and would give them a four-game winning streak. Let’s look at some guys who could find the end zone in this game.

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Keenan Allen (+150)

The Chargers will be down some receivers as they are already missing Mike Williams for the rest of the season, and Joshua Palmer will miss this game. Justin Herbert loves Allen, as he's currently tenth in targets, but he should get an even bigger share tonight. The Jets do have some premiere corners, but Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed have lined up twice between them as slot corners.

Garrett Wilson (+175)

Wilson got to the end zone in the first two games of the season, but it's now been five straight since he hasn't found paydirt. This is an excellent matchup, as the Chargers have an awful passing defense by allowing the third-most passing yards and the fifth-most passing touchdowns. Wilson has ten or more targets in three of the last four, so he'll have plenty of opportunities as the top receiving option.

Breece Hall (+115)

The Chargers haven't been much better against the run, allowing the sixth-most rushing touchdowns. Coming off the torn ACL and signing Dalvin Cook, you thought Hall would be in more of the committee, but he's the guy in this backfield with 60%+ of the snaps in the last two games. It's also helping him find the end zone, as he's scored in two of the last three games.
