Best Monday Night Football PrizePicks Player Predictions

Jake Browning Over 218.5 passing yards

On the road against an 8-3 team in primetime, Browning is likely to struggle. However, even if he does, he still has such a favorable matchup that his over should be played. Last week, he threw for 227 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

With how bad the Bengals’ defense has been, Browning will be playing from behind all of Monday night. It could be ugly in the first half, but when the field opens up for him in the second, he should be able to pick up easy yardage against the fifth-worst pass defense in football.

Travis Etienne Over 67.5 rushing yards

A lot of the Jaguars’ offensive players should have huge nights. The Bengals have the sixth-worst pass defense and the second-worst run defense in the league. Because the Jaguars should win this game with ease, Etienne’s rushing prop should hit in a very favorable matchup.

Etienne has rushed for 70 yards just four times this season. He’s been held to fewer than 60 in his past three games. However, he did get 20 carries last week, and he’s carried the ball at least 14 times in seven consecutive games. The Bengals allow 5.0 rushing yards per carry; so with 20 carries tonight, Etienne is looking at his second 100-yard game of the season.

Ja’Marr Chase Over 5.0 receptions

Last week, Chase caught four passes for 81 yards. That performance came without fellow wideout Tee Higgins on the field. Tonight, the Jaguars won’t be able to focus all of their attention on Chase, as they have to cover the Bengals’ full array of receivers.

In a game where Browning should throw the ball well over 30 times, Chase is destined to get at least 10 targets. Whether he will turn those targets into yards remains to be seen. But those targets will result in catches, as the Bengals design plays to get their best player involved in the offense.
