NFL Monday Night Football PrizePicks Predictions: Buccaneers vs. Chiefs

Cade Otton Over 5 Receptions

Over the last two weeks, Otton has been the most reliable target for the Bucs, and it's not particularly close. He has caught at least eight passes in each game and has racked up 17 catches, 181 yards, and two touchdowns. With Mike Evans and Chris Godwin both out again, Otton is likely in for another huge night.

The Chiefs have allowed 49 receptions and 566 yards to tight ends. Both marks are second-most in the league. Considering Otton has been targeted 10 times in each of his last two games, something no other Buccaneer has done once during that span, he should have another big night in a favourable matchup.

Patrick Mahomes Over 0.5 Interceptions

I understand that interceptions haven't plagued Mahomes throughout his entire career, but he can't get out of his own way this season. He's thrown nine interceptions and has at least one pick in every game. Tonight, he faces a defense averaging 0.6 interceptions per game, so he doesn't have a major advantage in this matchup.

Additionally, this prop is listed as a Demon. Getting inflated odds for something that has happened in 100% of games seven games into the season is simply too good to pass up. Mahomes will eventually have a game without an interception, but he's in a funk right now, and the price is too favourable not to take this.

Baker Mayfield Over 35 Pass Attempts

Mayfield has attempted at least 36 passes in four of his last five games. He's attempted at least 45 in each of his last two contests, as he's totaled 95 attempts over those two weeks. The Buccaneers currently have a top-10 rushing offense in the league, but the Chiefs rank third in rush yards allowed, so it's unlikely they have much success on the ground.

Additionally, the Bucs are likely to be trailing for the majority of this game, as has been the case over the last two weeks. They've shown they won't shy away from having Mayfield drop back an astronomical amount of times, as they try to keep up with opponents. This isn't the best matchup, but the game script should allow Mayfield to hit most of his Overs.
