NFL Monday Night Football Same Game Parlay Picks: Jaguars vs. Bills

We have a battle between an undefeated and a winless team. The Bills look great in the first two weeks, and they’ll try to go 3-0. The Jaguars need to get on the positive side, as it becomes very difficult to get into the playoffs after you start 0-3.

The narrative for the Bills going into the season was interesting. We were unsure how they would look with new offensive players, but they have receivers like Khalil Shakir, who have stepped up, and James Cook had a massive Week 2 against Miami. More importantly, Josh Allen hasn't fallen off, as he has five total touchdowns and an 83.8 QBR.

We wondered if we would see the 2022 version of the Jaguars that won a playoff game or the 2023 version that missed the playoffs. We’re getting the latter early in the season. They lost to Miami on a last-second field goal but then were stifled by the Browns, who had allowed 33 to the Cowboys the week prior. Trevor Lawrence was paid a ton of money but has yet to play like a big-money quarterback. Travis Etienne has also been slow to start; these are two important pieces that drive this offense, so it’s a domino effect when they struggle.

The Jaguars’ defense has done very well this season, but they need to play above and beyond to have any chance to win. Their offense is not clicking, and they have to keep up with the Bills, who have looked great through the first two weeks. That will be tough.

Lawrence must pass through the air, as he could be playing from behind. Kyler Murray had 21 completions in Week 1, with Tua Tagovailoa and Skylar Thompson completing 25. This could be a prop we cash late.

We could see the receivers shined for Buffalo as the Jaguars have allowed the third-most receiving yards to the position through two weeks (396). Shakir is Allen's favorite target so far, and the Jags have allowed slot receivers 19.7 yards per catch this year.
