Monday's Best NFL Same Game Parlay Bets
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
- Leg 1: Over 43.5 Total Points (-112)
- Leg 2: Alvin Kamara Over 31.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
- Leg 3: Patrick Mahomes Over 0.5 Interceptions (-130)
The Saints were one of the more surprising teams to start the season. Their offense had an explosive outburst, scoring 91 points in their first two games and having a +62 point-differential.
Then, in a matter of a week, it all fell apart. The offensive spark is gone; they have lost two straight and scored 36 total points. The big difference was that early, they were getting explosive plays; Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed were making big catches, and Alvin Kamara saw a resurgence. They lost that big play ability, and defenses have been putting more pressure on Derek Carr.
The Chiefs are 4-0, which is great, but they are a shell of a team. Rashee Rice will miss serious time, and Hollywood Brown won't play in the regular season, leaving rookie Xavier Worthy as their WR1. Isaiah Pacheco has also been injured, and they turned back the clock and are looking at Kareem Hunt to carry this team.
What has to be the biggest surprise is Travis Kelceâs struggles. He's been a non-factor until last week after the Rice injury. Now that he is his best receiver on the field, Mahomes should be looking for him. He will play a large factor in this game.
Both offenses might have the same gameplan: pepper the defense with short, intermediate passes to open up the big plays. Both teams also have home run-hitting wide receivers that can go vertical.
We should see Patrick Mahomes throw a ton against the New Orleans, and the Saints' defense has been solid. They are fourth in EPA per dropback and third in interceptions. You just hope it doesn't cost him the game.
With all the injuries, it's tough to see the direction this goes in, but we could see a lot of scoring.
