Monday's Best NFL Same Game Parlay Bets
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
- Leg 1: Under 47 Total Points (-110)
- Leg 2: Geno Smith Under 23.5 Pass Completions (-145)
- Leg 3: Amon-Ra St. Brown Over 77.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
The Seahawks remain undefeated thanks to a revitalized offense that came into this week scoring 23.4 points per game (8th). This defense is no Legion of Boom, but itâs been one of the better units theyâve had in a long time, as they are fourth in points allowed per game (14.3).
Geno Smith struggled last year after revitalizing his career in 2022, but this Ryan Grubb air attack has made him into one of the higher-tier passers again.
The Lions were the most improved team last year, but now no one will be surprised, and theyâll get their opponentâs best every week. They have played tight games so far, as all three have been decided by one score.
They were one of the best offenses in the league last year, as they scored 27.4 points per game and ranking fourth, but they have dropped to 20.7, which is 16th. They did make changes to the defense, and now, one of last yearâs worst is 9th in points allowed (17.7).
Neither of these teams has hit this total in 2024. Detroitâs secondary is better and can make stops against the pass, and Seattleâs defensive line should put pressure on Goff.
Smith has put up some good passing numbers, with over 280 passing yards in each of these last two games. His biggest problem is interceptions, as he has a 3:3 TD: INT ratio, which he needs to control.
The Lionsâ secondary has been much better this season, going from allowing 247.3 passing yards per game to 216.3. The return of Ken Walker III will help the run game and theyâll look to attack on the ground more than they have in past games.
The Lions know that in order to be a viable offense, they need to get the ball to their best player. For Detroit, that's Amon-Ra St. Brown. He didn't see the ball much in their first game against the Rams, but they have gotten heavily involved over the last two, and he has 18 catches.
St. Brown is difficult to defend because he lines up everywhere on the field. Of the 204 total snaps, he's taken 54% as a wideout and 46% in the slot. This will help him find the best matchup throughout the game Goff looks to target him.
