Baltimore Ravens vs. Los Angeles Chargers

We wondered how this new-look Chargers would be under Jim Harbaugh and the team revamping its roster. Long-time players like Keenan Allen and Austin Ekelaer are gone. They brought in J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards in the backfield and drafted Ladd McConkey.

They have gotten hot by winning five of their last six games. They have lived by the run, but Justin Herbert is starting to get involved, going from averaging 22 pass attempts per game in the first four games to 31 in the last six.

Are they going to be able to keep up with one of the better offenses in the league? The Ravens are second in the league with 30.4 points per game but are the only team to average over 400 total yards per game (430.1).

You can’t say the addition of Derrick Henry hasn't made this offense better. At an age when most running backs are declining, he's still the best, leading the league in rushing yards (1,185), yards after contact per rush (3.7) and broken tackles (17).

They wish they were getting the same production from their defense. They can stop the run, ranking second in rushing expected points added (EPA) with a mark of -0.036), but the pass defense has been colossally bad, allowing the most passing yards per game (284.5).

With the increase in passing from Los Angeles, a talent like Herbert should be able to carve up the inept Ravens secondary. Conversely, the Chargers are an average rush defense. Henry should lead the offense in what should be a back-and-forth high-scoring game.
