Houston Texans at Dallas Cowboys

  • Leg 1: Texans -7 (-120)
  • Leg 2: Jox Mixon Over 106.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards  (-120)
  • Leg 3: C.J. Stroud Over 19.5 Completions (-135)

It's been one of those “what can go wrong, will go wrong” seasons for the Cowboys. Injuries have decimated this roster, starting on defense with DaRon Bland and Micah Parson missing time. Then, it hit the offense with Brandin Cook and, ultimately, Dak Prescott, who had season-ending surgery.

Cee Dee Lamb comes into this game with a shoulder injury and is listed as questionable, but how impactful would he be with Cooper Rush or Trey Lance throwing to him?

The other team in Texas hasn't been playing as well, either. The Texans have lost three of the last four.

C.J. Stroud has hit a little bit of a slide, averaging 198.5 passing yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in that four-game span. The good news is he's getting back his best receiver as Nico Collins is set to return.

This year's Dallas defense is a far cry from last year. They are among the worst overall, especially against the run as they are 27th in rushing success (45.2%) and last in rush EPA (0.078). Joe Mixon is having a phenomenal season, with 100+ rushing yards in four of his last five games. He will play a large part in the Texans’ return to the winning side.

The return of Collins will make a large impact on this offense. He had been Stroud's favorite target at the start of the year, and you could see when Collins was out, Stroud spent more time going through his progressions. waiting for receivers to be open and that was why we saw him scrambling more and making bad throws. We should see the Stroud of old return.
