(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Brian Robinson Jr. â First Touchdown (+1200)
Brian Robinson hasn't found the end zone yet, but it looks encouraging. Over two games, he has eight red zone carries, including six last week.
The Bengals have not done well against the run, as they've allowed the sixth-most rushing yards per game. Defensive tackles Sheldon Rankins and B.J. Hill are out for this matchup.
JaâMarr Chase â Anytime Touchdown (+125)
You would believe that if the Commanders brought in a defensive coach like Dan Quinn, they would become better at defense. That has not happened, as they've allowed the fifth-most points (55) and the tenth-most passing yards (455). The secondary has been getting burned by wide receivers and has allowed six touchdowns to receivers, the most in the league.
Chase hasn't had a great start. He hasn't played well, and he feels like he hasn't been paid well. Tonight could be a better night, especially with Higgins returning. This will take defensive pressure off him, and he'll get better matchups against a bad defense.
Mike Gesicki â Anytime Touchdown (+235)
We'll look at another player who hasn't found the end zone but has many promising stats that show it could happen. Gesicki led the team last week with seven catches on nine targets for 91 receiving yards. There could be a reason why Burrow decided to go to his tight ends more often.
We have to wonder if Burrow's wrist is fully healed; through two games, he's averaging 6.0 air yards per pass attempt, which is 27th in the league and the lowest of his career.
This could be due to Higgins missing the previous two games and the secondary being able to focus on Ja'Marr Chase. If Higgins plans to be back in the lineup, that will help.
We still believe Gesicki will be an important of this offense going forward and could find his first score of the season.
