Monday's Best NFL Touchdown Scorer Prop Bets
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Travis Kelce â First Touchdown Scorer (+700)
The leaders of this Chiefs' receiving core were supposed to be Rashee Rice, Hollywood Brown, and Xavier Worthy. Now, it's down to the rookie Worthy, with Rice and Brown out with injuries.
That diminished Kelce's role at the start of the season, but after Rice went down last week, Kelce started to become the focal point. He has yet to find the end zone, but with his increase in usage, Mahomesâ favorite target will find it this week.
Xavier Worthy Anytime Touchdown (+140)
As we mentioned, Worthy is now the top wide receiver in this offense. His speed made him so appealing during the draft season, and he broke the 40-time record (4.21).
What we could see a lot from Mahomes is short and intermediate passes to Kelce and JuJu Smith-Schuster, which will help the offense open up and give Worthy a chance to go vertical for a big score.
Juwan Johnson Anytime Touchdown (+390)
We won't see Taysom Hill in this game as he deals with an injury. Johnson has been a viable tight end option, and if the Chiefs are weak at defending one position, it's the tight end.
They are allowing the most catches and receiving yards to tight ends this season. The Saints might have the same strategy of the shorter passes, finding their spots to open it up for Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed, so this is a great spot for Johnson to get some touches and find the end zone.
