NFL Saturday Player Prop Bet Odds & Picks: Lions vs. Cowboys (Week 17)

Week 17 brings us our last Saturday regular season game in the NFL as the Lions visit Dallas to play the Cowboys.

Let’s take a look at our top player prop bets for Saturday!

Best NFL Saturday Football Week 17 Player Prop Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Jared Goff Over 24.5 Completions (-110)

It’s looking like a high-scoring game tonight in Dallas (Over/Under is set at 52 currently), so this should mean lots of passing for these teams. Especially the Lions if they find themselves behind in this game early on and need to pass their way back into it. Last week, Jared Goff had 30 completions against the Vikings and 24 the week before against the Broncos. Look for Goff to pepper St. Brown and LaPorta all night, and even checkdowns to RBs help us against this Dallas pass rush. Look for the Lions to go all out to try and win this game behind Goff and the offense on their quest to a potential 1 seed in the NFC.

Donovan Wilson Over 6.5 Tackles + Assists (-105)

For our second prop, we’re going to take over 6.5 Tackles + Assists for S Donovan Wilson. Wilson has become a key tackler on defense for this Cowboys team as he has 20 in his past 2 games. Both of those games were against good teams, so maybe Detroit can continue this trend. I see the Lions running more plays than expected which will lead to more Cowboys tackles on defense. Teams have not been able to cover Amon’ra St. Brown all year, and Wilson should be around to clean up after receptions from him, Sam LaPorta, and Jahmyr Gibbs. With no real thumper LB on this defense, Wilson acts as a pseudo LB and should clear this number Saturday night.

Jahmyr Gibbs Over 50.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Despite David Montgomery’s strong year in Detroit, Gibbs has been a revelation for the Lions. The rookie has lived up to the hype and is on his way to 1000 yards and 10+ touchdowns. His number is set at 50.5, as it’s expected the Lions will be playing from behind in this game. For me, I think this game is going to be much closer and I see Detroit leaning on the run game in this one. Gibbs has 54+ rushing yards in each of the past 5 games, and I don’t see the red-hot rookie slowing down anytime soon in a pivotal game. Take Gibbs over 50 rushing yards with confidence.
