NFL Saturday Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: (Week 16)
Another week, another Saturday football slate. Week 16 brings us Saturday football, Sunday football and Christmas football all day on Monday. For Saturday, we have the Bengals at Steelers at 4:30 PM and Bills at Chargers in primetime.
Let's take a look at our top player prop bets for Saturday!
Best NFL Saturday Football Week 16 Player Prop Bets
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Tyler Boyd 40+ Receiving Yards (+100)
Jake Browning has been solid as Joe Burrowâs replacement this season and has the Bengals still alive for the postseason. However, this week, he will need to do it without star wide receiver JaâMarr Chase. I think Tee Higgins and Joe Mixon will pick up some slack here, but I love Boyd getting around 50 yards or so today as well. In the past three games, Boyd is averaging 37 yards per game with Chase in the lineup. That will surely increase without Chase against the Steelers. Also, Boyd is from Pittsburgh, so this game might be a little more personal for him with family and friends in attendance. Give me the hometown kid to have at least 40 yards against the Steelers today.
Najee Harris Under 53.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
After this past week, the Steelers still have many flaws on offense. Now, they bring in quarterback Mason Rudolph to start for the first time in two years. Harris has had 12 carries each of the past two weeks and has not eclipsed 33 rushing yards. If the Steelers fall behind in this game again, I can see them somewhat abandoning Harris' carries in the second half in an effort to get points on the board quick. Both of these teams are fighting for the playoffs, but the Bengals feel like they have a better chance to get there. For Harris to hit this over, a lot of things need to go right that I just do not see happening today with this Steelers team.
Joe Mixon 50+ Rushing Yards (-115)
On the other hand, I expect the Bengals to lean on Mixon a bit more this week. This past week, they used a balanced rushing attack with Mixon and running back Chase Brown, which led to Mixon having only 10 carries for 47 yards. I like the idea of keeping Mixon fresh during the stretch run, but with today being a must-win game with no JaâMarr Chase, I see them giving him 15+ carries. Chase Brown has been great as a receiver out of the backfield, but the Bengals will need to pound the ball with their workhorse today in a classic AFC North rivalry game.
