NFL Anytime Touchdown Scorer Prop Bets

Who will score a touchdown in this week’s NFL Games? The Anytime TD market covers any player who carries or receives the ball into the end zone, not the QB who passes the ball. We compare anytime touchdown stats to prop bet odds and projections to help identify today’s best bets. View Anytime Touchdown odds across sportsbooks here.

Anytime TD Scorer: Davante Adams (+170)

I don't understand why the betting market has Adams to score an anytime touchdown at plus money. Aaron Rodgers and Adams have one of the best connections between a quarterback and wide receiver the NFL has ever seen. They connected on 73 touchdowns during their eight years together with the Green Bay Packers. Furthermore, Adams had several double-digit receiving touchdown seasons with Rodgers, including five of his final six years in Green Bay.

Some believe the Jets will ease the superstar receiver into the offense. However, that doesn't make sense. Rodgers and Adams have years of chemistry playing together. Furthermore, the veteran receiver knows the offense from his time with the Packers. Therefore, expect Rodgers to feature Adams on national television early and often against Pittsburgh. While it might take a quarter or two to shake off the rust, Adams should find the end zone at least once on Sunday night.

Anytime TD Scorer: George Pickens (+180)

Predicting how the Steelers offense will look after six weeks of Justin Fields is difficult. However, bettors should expect Pickens to see the ball regardless of which quarterback is under center. He leads the team in targets (44), totaling 18 more than anyone else and 27 more than any other wide receiver. Unfortunately, the third-year pro hasn't found the end zone after totaling five touchdowns in 2023. Yet, that could change as early as this week.

Meanwhile, Russell Wilson had 26 passing touchdowns in 15 games last season, the ninth-most in the NFL. More importantly, the veteran tended to lean on his bigger-bodied wide receivers. Denver's top three leaders in receiving touchdowns last year were Courtland Sutton (10), Brandon Johnson (four), and Lil'Jordan Humphrey (three). All three receivers are 6'2" or taller. Expect Wilson to lean on the one wide receiver with a similar build at his disposal in Pittsburgh - Pickens (6'3").
