NFL Sunday Night Football Player Prop Bet Picks & Predictions: Chargers vs. 49ers (Week 11)

The injury-riddled Los Angeles Chargers are heading to San Francisco where they look to take down the 49ers. Both teams have suffered key injuries that have left their lineups rather depleted throughout the season. Here are my favorite player prop bets for Sunday night's game.
NFL Sunday Night Football Player Prop Bet Picks & Predictions: Chargers vs. 49ers
Josh Palmer Over 53.5 Receiving Yards (-110, FanDuel)
Josh Palmer is primed for another opportunity to produce. With both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams both ruled out for yet another week, Palmer should once again be the leader in targets. Over his last two games, Palmer has seen 22 total targets with ten or more in each of them. Furthermore, Palmer has exceeded 53.5 yards in each of his last two games with 57 and 106. On top of this, the 49ers secondary has been rather weak in their last handful of games. Since week five, the 49ers have allowed 175.5 receiving yards per game to the wide receiver position, which is just 27th in the NFL. I believe the combination of increased opportunity against a weak secondary spells a big game for Palmer.
Austin Ekeler Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+110, FanDuel)
Austin Ekeler is the only weapon left standing on the Chargers offense. With no Allen or Williams, the offense runs through Ekeler. After a slow start to the season, Ekeler has managed to score in each of his last five games. Additionally, Ekeler gets it done on the ground and through the air, making him a lethal scoring threat. The main point of concern is the 49ers' defense ranks first in the NFL in rushing yards allowed with just 86.6 per game. However, Ekeler's dual threat abilities should be enough to find the endzone at least once. With ten total touchdowns over his last five games, I believe that plus money odds for Ekeler to score is highway robbery.
Christian McCaffrey Over 79.5 Rushing Yards (-114, BetRivers)
After a lackluster debut, Christian McCaffrey made his presence known in San Francisco. In his first start with a full week of preparation, McCaffrey totaled 149 scrimmage yards with a rushing, receiving, and passing touchdown. Needless to say, Kyle Shanahan is enjoying his newest offensive weapon. Additionally, the Chargers rank 29th in the NFL allowing a whopping 145.5 rushing yards per game. Los Angeles also ranks dead last in the NFL allowing 5.7 yards per carry. McCaffrey should be capable of taking advantage of one of the worst rush defenses in the league.
