Best NFL Week 12 Sunday Night Football Player Prop Bets: Eagles vs. Rams
(Odds Courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Dallas Goedert Over 42.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Limiting the offensive trio of Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith is an incredibly tough task for any defense. It’s a task that lets tight end Dallas Goedert sneak under the radar as a reliable intermediate target for quarterback Jalen Hurts. Goedert is averaging 55.3 yards on 4.4 receptions over seven games played this campaign. The former South Dakota State standout has also posted a career-best 83.8% catch percentage and has hauled in a pass of at least 14 yards in six out of seven contests.
This is a matchup Goedert can take advantage of. The Rams concede 62.3 yards per game to opposing tight ends and enter Sunday evening tied for the fourth-most missed tackles in the league (79). It’s worth noting Goedert torched the Rams for 117 yards and a touchdown on eight receptions during a meeting at Sofi Stadium last season. His ability to find soft spots in coverage and rumble for a few extra yards should help this wager cash with 3-5 grabs. Lock this prop bet in with confidence.
Matthew Stafford Under 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-130)
This may seem like a surprising option considering quarterback Matthew Stafford carved up the New England Patriots for four touchdowns in Week 11. However, that was just the third time in 10 contests that the L.A. signal-caller tallied at least two passing touchdowns. Head coach Sean McVay has shown a commitment to the rushing attack when the Rams are near the end zone. Running back Kyren Williams has seen the second-most carries within the 20-yard line in the NFL (43). Expect that plan to continue.
The biggest story of Philadelphia’s six-game winning streak is its resurgent defense. The Eagles have generated constant pressure with 22 sacks and have recorded key takeaways with five interceptions during that span. They are frustrating quarterbacks on all fronts. Overall, defensive coordinator Vic Fangio’s unit has surrendered the fourth-fewest passing touchdowns on the year (nine) and has not yielded two scores through the air since a Week 4 game against Tampa Bay. This is a spot to fade Stafford’s arm.
A.J. Brown Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+105)
Wide receiver A.J. Brown rides a four-week touchdown drought into this primetime clash. The repeated success of the “Tush Push” and Barkley’s unbelievable strength is to blame. Brown has logged 15 targets across the past two contests, though, and now draws a matchup with a shaky secondary. The Rams rank 28th in opponent yards per completion (11.3) and have been beaten for the fifth-most passing plays of 20+ yards (35). Simply put, they have yet to figure out how to defend the deep ball.
That’s great for Brown as he has proven to be a downfield threat time and time again. The three-time Pro Bowler’s touchdowns have come from 22, 41 and 67 yards out in 2024. The Rams’ defense has allowed a wideout to reach the end zone 13 times in 10 games. That includes when Arizona’s Marvin Harrison Jr., San Francisco’s Jauan Jennings and Seattle’s Jaxon Smith-Njigba scored multiple times in their respective battles versus the Rams. Throw a sprinkle on Brown to accomplish that same feat at +700 odds.
