Best NFL Week 15 Sunday Night Football Player Prop Bets: Packers vs. Seahawks

(Odds Courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

DK Metcalf Longest Reception Over 22.5 Yards (-120)

The foundation of Seattle’s offense can be found in its air attack. The Seahawks check in sixth in the NFL with a 62.6% passing play percentage and an average of 12.8 passing first downs per game. Quarterback Geno Smith is not afraid to launch the ball and wide receiver DK Metcalf has been his most reliable deep threat. Metcalf enters Sunday with a reception of at least 23 yards in eight of his last 10 contests and ranks among the top 20 wideouts in yards per catch (15) for the second straight season.

The Packers have conceded a reception of 23+ yards to 21 different players through 13 games. That includes a 67-yard touchdown to Philadelphia’s A.J. Brown and a 27-yard completion to Arizona’s Trey McBride. Those two pros excel at using their size to create separation or come down with jump balls no matter who the defender is. Of course, that is a highlight of Metcalf’s abilities as well. Look for the two-time Pro Bowler to give the home crowd something to cheer about with a big play.

Jordan Love Over 0.5 Interceptions (-135)

Takeaways have played a key role in Seattle’s recent surge to the top of the NFC West division. The Seahawks defense has snagged an interception in seven straight duels as cornerback Coby Bryant and safety Julian Love stand out in the secondary. The aggressiveness head coach Mike Macdonald once showcased with the Ravens has followed him to the West Coast. Bettors should be licking their lips considering an erratic Jordan Love is the next quarterback to visit Lumen Field.

Love has tossed 11 interceptions during 11 starts in 2024, which already ties his total from the 2023 campaign (17 contests). The causes for the picks range anywhere from a bad read to miscommunication or even a target slipping on his route. Nevertheless, the 26-year-old signal-caller finds himself well below the league average (75.3%) with a 69.1% on-target percentage. Love has shown he is willing to throw the ball into any coverage in any situation. That will get him into trouble versus an underrated Seahawks squad.

Anytime Touchdown Scorer Parlay: Josh Jacobs & Zach Charbonnet (+172)

Let’s cap this off with an enticing touchdown parlay. Green Bay running back Josh Jacobs has tallied the most red-zone touches among ball-carriers in the past four weeks (24) and turned those opportunities into an impressive eight touchdowns. The former Alabama star should have multiple chances to score on a national stage as opponents are averaging 3.7 red-zone scoring attempts per Seattle home game (seventh-most in the NFL). It’s best to keep trusting Jacobs until he provides a reason not to.

On the other side, Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker is doubtful to suit up with a lingering calf injury. That means another heavy workload for Zach Charbonnet after he racked up a career-high 134 rushing yards on 22 carries against the Cardinals in Week 14. He also logged eight red-zone touches and found the end zone twice. Overall, Charbonnet has recorded eight touchdowns in 13 games and faces a Packers’ defense that has surrendered a rushing touchdown in four of its five away matchups.
