Team First Touchdown Scorers

SF – Christian McCaffrey (+165)

The superstar running back was a touchdown machine this year. McCaffrey led the NFL in offensive touchdowns during the regular season (21), finding the end zone in 86.7% of the games he finished. More importantly, the superstar has been the heart and soul of the offense for the 49ers during the playoffs. He scored four of their seven touchdowns, including the first score in the win over the Detroit Lions. McCaffrey also scored the first San Francisco touchdown in 43.8% of his regular season games.

KC – Travis Kelce (+285)

While the superstar tight end had a disappointing regular season, Kelce has been unstoppable during the playoffs. He has averaged 7.7 receptions on nine targets and a touchdown per game during the postseason, scoring in back-to-back contests. Furthermore, the future Hall of Famer found the end zone 18 times in 17 career playoff games with Patrick Mahomes under center, including two of their three Super Bowl appearances. More importantly, Kelce had the first Kansas City touchdown in back-to-back playoff games after failing to accomplish that feat once during the regular season.

Likely Touchdown Scorers

Isiah Pacheco (-120)

Pacheco played a role in the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl last year, scoring a rushing touchdown against the Philadelphia Eagles. Furthermore, the second-year running back has been a massive part of the Chiefs’ offense in 2023. Pacheco had seven rushing touchdowns during the regular season, accounting for 77.8% of the team’s total. He has found the end zone in six of the past seven games, including all three playoff contests. Meanwhile, the 49ers have struggled to stop the run in the postseason. Expect Pacheco to keep his playoff touchdown streak alive.

Brandon Aiyuk (+170)

San Francisco has an elite set of weapons led by Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel. However, Aiyuk led the team in receiving touchdowns during the regular season with seven. The star wide receiver has found the end zone in six of the past 11 games, including last week against the Lions. More importantly, Aiyuk has been one of the most dominant wide receivers against man coverage this year. The Chiefs have one of the most man-coverage-heavy defenses in the NFL. Don’t be surprised if Aiyuk finds the end zone for the second consecutive contest.

Long-Shot Touchdown Scorers

Kyle Juszczyk (+900)

While Juszczyk is listed as a fullback on the team’s depth chart, the veteran is a do-it-all weapon for the 49ers. He had only 19 touches during the regular season, but he turned it into two receiving touchdowns, one more than No. 3 wide receiver Jauan Jennings. Head coach Kyle Shanahan tends to lean on Juszczyk when the games matter most. When these two teams faced off in the Super Bowl four years ago, the veteran fullback finished second on the team in receiving yards (39) and had the only receiving touchdown for San Francisco.

Kadarius Toney (+1200)

Many will rightfully call this pick laughable. Toney has been a massive bust since entering the NFL. He has three receiving touchdowns in 20 regular-season games with the Chiefs, including one this year. The former Florida star also hasn’t played since Week 15, but he could suit up for the Super Bowl. Last year, Toney had a five-yard receiving touchdown in the Super Bowl win over the Eagles. After claiming he’s a No. 1 wide receiver this week, I’ll take a chance on him finding the end zone at 12-1.
