Best Same Game Parlay Bets: Eagles vs. Chiefs
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Kansas City Chiefs @ Philadelphia Eagles
- Leg 1: Patrick Mahomes 250+ Passing Yards (-120)
- Leg 2: Saquon Barkley 110+ Rushing Yards (-144)
- Leg 3: Xavier Worthy 50+ Rushing + Receiving Yards (-267)
- Leg 4: Dallas Goedert 40+ Receiving Yards (-230)
Patrick Mahomes didn’t have an exceptional regular season. According to Pro-Football-Reference, he averaged 245.5 passing yards per game in 16 games in the regular season. However, Mahomes had a median of 261 passing yards, eclipsing 250 yards nine times.
He’s also an entirely different animal in the playoffs. In 20 playoff contests, Mahomes has averaged 277.9 passing yards per game, surpassing 250 in 14 games. Furthermore, the Eagles have a pass-funnel defense. Per RotoViz’s pace app, Philadelphia has faced a 66% situation-neutral pass rate in the playoffs this year. Thus, FantasyPros projects Mahomes for 251.4 passing yards in the Super Bowl.
Xavier Worthy should be a popular option for Mahomes through the air. According to the data suite at Fantasy Points, Worthy has paced the Chiefs in route participation (86.2%), target share (25.5%), first-read percentage (31.4%), receptions (11) and receiving yards (130) in the playoffs.
Worthy has also been a dynamic runner at times this year. With a week to plan for the Super Bowl, Andy Reid might have a sneaky run play up his sleeve for Worthy. The speedy rookie has had at least 50 scrimmage yards in four of his previous five games and seven of nine. FantasyPros projects Worthy for 58.4 rushing yards and 7.5 receiving yards against the Eagles.
It’s straightforward how the Eagles want to attack their opponents. They have a mauling offensive line and a highly productive running game. Saquon Barkley has excelled in Philadelphia’s offense, and they’ve leaned heavily on him. In the playoffs, the Eagles have recorded a 55% situation-neutral rush rate.
In those games, Barkley has toted the rock 25, 26 and 15 times for 119, 205 and 118 rushing yards. Barkley’s surpassed 115 rushing yards in five consecutive games and eight of his previous 10.
Barkley’s matchup is excellent in the Super Bowl. In Kansas City’s last six meaningful games (Week 14 through Week 17 and the playoffs), they’ve permitted 135.8 rushing yards per game and 5.29 yards per carry. Therefore, Barkley should be able to have at least 115 rushing yards in a likely close contest.
Dallas Goedert has a sweet matchup when the Eagles take to the air, too. According to Pro-Football-Reference, the Chiefs allowed the most receiving yards per game (70.1) to tight ends in the regular season.
Meanwhile, Goedert is rolling. He’s had 55, 47, 56 and 85 receiving yards in his past four games. Goedert averaged 49.6 receiving yards per game in the regular season and 62.7 in the playoffs. FantasyPros projects Goedert for 47.4 receiving yards against the Chiefs.
