NFL Super Bowl Teaser Bet Odds & Picks (49ers vs. Chiefs)

A teaser is a way for you to get a significantly better line for something you think is likely to happen. Of course, with these better odds come steeper prices. However, when teasing, you will select at least two bets and parlay them together so the price is not as high.

Here is the best early tease for Super Bowl LVIII.

Kansas City Chiefs +8 (-428)

By instituting a six-point tease, you can get the Chiefs at +8 for -428. Even though the Chiefs are underdogs in this game, many believe they should be favored over the 49ers. The KC defense has been incredible all season, and the offense is finally starting to click.

The 49ers’ defense struggled against the Lions last week. The Lions consistently moved the ball down the field, even if they couldn’t get on the scoreboard in the second half. Patrick Mahomes and his team have been in this spot before. After all, they won the Super Bowl last year. Though they’ve struggled to score points in the second half of games this season, they’ve been doing enough offensively to turn it over to their defense to shut the door on the game.

What’s great about this six-point teaser is that the Chiefs are two-point underdogs. That means that you are going through the key numbers of three and seven on your way to this line of +8. The Chiefs could lose this game, but it’s unlikely they’ll be blown out like they were in the Super Bowl when they lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even though the price is really expensive, this is the type of safety play that is perfect for a teaser and can ultimately become lucrative.

Over 41.5 points (-235)

The Chiefs were one of the best under teams this season. 14 of their 20 games have seen the total end beneath the number offered by oddsmakers. Meanwhile, the 49ers have seen 11 of their 19 games go over as they head into this Super Bowl matchup.

The Chiefs enter this game with the second-best scoring defense in the NFL. The 49ers rank third. Because of that, it’s very tempting to just take the under and run. While you could consider moving the line in the other direction and teasing it up to 53.5 and then taking the under, we think it’s better to take over 41.5.

At least one team has scored 20 points in all but one 49ers’ game this season. The 49ers have never scored fewer than 17 in a game. The Chiefs haven’t been as consistent as the 49ers on the offensive side of the ball, but they did score at least 17 points in all but two games started by Mahomes this season.

Though the defenses are great, these are two offenses that have made a lot of plays this season. Additionally, the public loves overs. The Super Bowl is the most bet game in the world. As kickoff approaches, the public is going to bet this number up. This will allow you to tease the line as high as 55 and take the under. For now, get this over as low as you can.
