NFL Thursday Night Football Anytime Touchdown Scorer Picks: Buccaneers vs. Bills (Week 8)

Week 8 begins in Orchard Park with the Buccaneers visiting the Bills, Buffalo suffered a heartbreaking loss against New England last week, which gives them losses to all of their conference rivals, so they may need to win this division outright. Tampa Bay has dropped two games, and it looks like they’ll be competing against the Falcons for the NFC South all season.

NFL Thursday Night Football Touchdown Scorer Picks

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Mike Evans (+180)

You wondered if Evans would take a dip with Baker Mayfield as the quarterback. Not at all. His 15.6 yards per reception is his best since 2019, and he’s logged a touchdown in four of six games. He’s still the toughest to defend on that corner fade route, and it should log him in a score tonight.

Trey Palmer (+550)

The Bills defense has looked good this year, but they have some underlying issues, as they’re 29th in defensive success rate and 26th in completion percentage. This could be an excellent opportunity for the passing game and Palmer to get some opportunities in the red zone. You can sense the Bucs want to get Trey Palmer more involved, and he could have opportunities in this game.

Dalton Kincaid (+190)

The rookie has yet to record a touchdown, but with Dawson Knox sidelined, it will be his time to shine. He’s a speedy tight end, a great route runner, and is fourth in target separation among the position. The Buccaneers have yet to allow a touchdown to tight ends, but it could happen with the increased targets coming to him.

Josh Allen (+140)

The Buccaneers’ defensive front is not as intimidating as it was in previous years, and this should help Allen in this game. Allen only has six rushing attempts inside the red zone, but the Bucs have done well at stopping the run plays with zero rushing touchdowns to running backs. They have allowed three quarterbacks, which is a good sign if Allen decides to take off on his own.
