NFL Thursday Night Football Player Prop Bet Picks: Buccaneers vs. Bills (Week 8)

Week 8 begins in Orchard Park with the Buccaneers visiting the Bills, Buffalo suffered a heartbreaking loss against New England last week, which gives them losses to all of their conference rivals, so they may need to win this division outright. Tampa Bay has dropped two games, and it looks like they’ll be competing against the Falcons for the NFC South all season.

James Cook Under 50.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Even with Damien Harris out, this didn’t give Cook a large boost in snap share and took 52%, while Latavius Murray saw 45%. This will be a tough assignment against the Buccaneers, who are 12th in yards per carry. They’ve allowed 575 rushing yards, but 201 of those were against the Eagles, so they have been great in all their other games, and Tyler Alligeir is the only player to rush 51 yards or more against them this season.

Mike Evans Over 56.5 Receiving Yards (-120)

Mike Evans has continued to thrive even when some questioned him with Baker Mayfield behind center. Evans is dependable, with just an 8.2% drop rate, and is tenth in deep targets. The Bills’ defense is vulnerable in some ways because they’re 29th in defensive success rate and 26th in completion percentage. He has five catches in four games and has had over 56.5 yards in each. He’s likely to see Christian Benson as his primary defender, and although his primary opponents have gone over five targets just once (Darius Slayton), they went over 56 receiving yards.

Dalton Kincaid Over 3.5 Receptions (-160)

Dawson Knox’s sidelined means that Dalton Kincaid should see a large increase in targets. Last week, he caught all eight of his targets for 75 yards. His 25 receptions are tenth amongst tight ends, and he is fourth in target separation. No one should be surprised if he becomes one of the primary targets in the offense going forward.
