Thursday's Best NFL Player Props
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Aaron Rodgers Under 30.5 Passing Attempts (-110)
The Jets got their first win of the season, which was Rodgers' first as a Jet. He hasn't needed to do much and is averaging just 26 passes per game.
Much of that was due to San Fransisco dominating the time of possession in Week 1 and Tennessee's defense looking good last week.
Give it up to rookie head coach Jerrod Mayo. The Patriots look better than most predicted. They beat the Bengals and went to overtime with the Seahawks. New York isn't asking Rodgers to control the game, and they'll emphasize the run.
Jacoby Brissett Under 164.5 Passing Yards (-120)
Like Rodgers, Brissett has not been a big part of the Patriotsâ offense. They have leaned heavily towards the run and are fourth in run-play percentage (57.6%).
They are going against a stellar Jets pass defense, and teams have avoided it so far. It's early, but teams are throwing against New York on 55.1% of play, 21st in the league.
Brissett is conservative at 5.3 yards per pass and will avoid that secondary as much as possible.
Rhamondre Stevenson Over 65.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
The Patriots gave Stevenson an extension in the offseason, and it's working out. This season, his 46 carries are third in the league, and his 201 rushing yards are fifth.
The Jets have been more vulnerable against the run as they are 24th in rushing yards allowed per game (155.5). It got a little weaker with Jermaine Johnson done for the year with a torn Achilles, and Hassan Reddick still yet to step onto the field.
