Thursdayâs Best NFL Player Prop Bets: Seahawks vs. Bears
(Odds Courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
DâAndre Swift Under 58.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
The Seahawksâ run defense has been playing better lately, as they are sixth in rush expected points added (EPA) and rush success rate. If weâre being honest, DâAndre Swift's Bears tenure could be considered a bust, and he's been awful lately, averaging 41.2 yards per game and 3.1 yards per carry over his last five games.
The Bears are moving away from the run and giving Caleb Williams more pass attempts, and they could be playing from behind.
DK Metcalf Longest Reception Over 23.5 Yards (-120)
Jaxon Smith-Njigba has become a favorite of Geno Smith in the second half of the season, but as primarily a slot receiver, you cannot always just get the small gains.
This helps open things for DK Metcalf, who can make that big gain. This season, he has a reception of 25+ yards in nine out of 13 games. This has been a solid Bears pass defense, but they allow the big plays. Theyâve allowed 53 receptions of 20+ yards, which ranks 28th. Metcalf will get plenty of chances with at least six targets in 10 games.
Keenan Allen Over 62.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Caleb Williams has been passing more lately, and Keenan Allen has been the biggest beneficiary. Although the veteran's first season in Chicago hasn't gone as well as he might have hoped, he's becoming a key player in the passing game.
He has at least 60 receiving yards in three of the last five games and went off for 141 last week. He's become Williams' favorite target in situations where they need to convert first downs. Allen is the most sure-handed receiver on this team.
