Thursday’s Best NFL Player Prop Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Sam Darnold Over 21.5 Completions (-115)

The Vikings suffered their first loss last week, but there's still so much confidence with this team. It has a lot to do with the emergence of Darnold, as he's become one of the top quarterbacks in the league. He didn't have a bad performance against the Lions, with 259 passing yards, a touchdown, and an interception, but what is notable is he had a season-high 81.5 completion rate.

The Rams don't give up many passing yards because they've seen the fewest pass attempts. The concerning number is that they've allowed the fourth-highest completion rate. Darnold has a great offensive line who are giving him the most time in the pocket (2.7), which will help him complete passes.

Kyren Williams Under 73.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

The Rams’ wide receivers have been injured, and the offensive line has struggled with the fourth-highest pressure rate allowed (26.4%). This is why Matthew Stafford has thrown fewer than 30 passes in four of six games.

They trust giving Williams the ball, who has carried it  20+ times in three of the last four games. The problem is he's facing the best run defense in the league. Minnesota has allowed the fewest rush attempts (120) and the fifth-fewest yards per carry.

This could impact the Rams’ offensive strategy. If they can't move the ball through the run game or face a large deficit, they may rely on Stafford’s arm.

Matthew Stafford Over 0.5 Interceptions (-110)

Stafford is a great passer, but you must accept that he will turn it over. He's thrown at least ten interceptions every season in which he has played at least ten games. He's coming into this game with a pick in four straight against the defense with the most interceptions (11).
